The 2019 Lake Oconee Food & Wine Festival will take place March 15-17, 2019.

Georgia's premier food & wine festival takes place along the shores of Lake Oconee at the Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee. The festival is conveniently located just about an hour, 20 minutes from either Atlanta or Augusta and about 40 minutes from Athens!

No. Only legal adults age 21 or older are allowed admittance to any festival events. This includes infants and toddlers.

Pets are not permitted at any festival events. The only exception will be for animals trained and working for the assistance of people with disabilities.

The festival comprises multiple events over a three-day period. Tickets are sold through our website. Just visit our tickets page select the events in which you would like to participate and add those items to your cart. Our online ticket purchasing is secure and you can rest assured that we do not store your billing information nor will we sell your personal or billing information to any third parties.

Festival tickets generally sell out about two weeks before the festival takes place. We encourage everyone to purchase tickets in advance.

For those purchasing tickets for groups or multiple attendees, we recommend that you have all guests' names and emails on-hand when purchasing tickets. Although your attendees’ names and email addresses are not required, we recommend ticket purchasers have this information to help facilitate getting tickets to guests.

Shortly after completing your online purchase, you will receive an email with the subject line "Tickets - Lake Oconee Food & Wine Festival." This email will include a link to view and print your tickets.

If you entered email addresses for the attendees in your group, each of your guests will receive an email with the subject "Tickets - Lake Oconee Food & Wine Festival." This email will contain links for your guests to view and print their individual tickets.

It is the responsibility of the ticket purchaser to ensure each guest within your group receives the correct tickets for their events.

Printed tickets are not required for check-in to festival events. However, due to the often-spotty cell reception around the lake, we recommend that you have printed tickets with you. For instructions on how to use the paperless ticket option, please see the Q&A number 8.

  1. Your festival tickets can be scanned right from your mobile device at check-in.
  2. Ensure that your mobile device can display all the information located on your ticket by following the link included in the "Ticket - Lake Oconee Food & Wine Festival" email you received after purchasing tickets.
  3. 3. At event check-in, simply display the QR code included on your ticket and festival staff will scan the ticket QR code right from your screen.

Each guest will have a unique ticket for each event for which they have registered. A ticket will be required for each individual event.

We recommend that you have the names and email addresses of each person in your group when purchasing tickets.

You do have the option to use your own information for your guests' tickets. To do so, just follow the simple steps below during your ticket purchase:

  1. On the "Registration Checkout" page under "Step 1," you will be asked to enter your contact information. Enter your name and email address in the fields provided in the "Attendee 1" area.
  2. Under the "Attendee 1" area, check the box labeled "Use Attendee #1's information for ALL attendees."
  3. The ticket purchaser's name and email will be included on each ticket.
  4. The ticket purchaser will receive an email with the subject: "Tickets - Lake Oconee Food & Wine Festival." This email will contain a link for you to view and print all tickets.

It is easy to update your guests' information and even resend their tickets to them if necessary. Just follow the steps below:

  1. After completing the ticket purchase the purchaser will receive an email with the subject "Registration - Lake Oconee Food & Wine Festival." (*)[NOT the email with Subject "Group Registration"](*) You will need to locate this email to update your guests' information.
  2. In the "Group Registration" email each guest is listed along with their event ticket(s). Find the name of the guest whose information you would like to update.
  3. Click on the link labeled "Edit Attendee Info Here" and you will be taken to a page with a form to update your guests' name or email address.
  4. Once you have entered the updated information just click the "Update Attendee Information" button, and you will be redirected to a "Thank You" confirmation page. If needed, you can resend the ticket and registration information to your guests from this page.

To resend your guests' ticket and registration:

  1. While on the "Thank You" page, look for the "resend email" link displayed under your guest's name.
  2. Just click on the "resend email" link and a new ticket notice will be sent to the email submitted for your guest.

You may purchase a weekend stay package that includes tickets to The Grand Tasting. You will not need a promotion code—just select reservation dates for March 15-17, 2019 and your Grand Tasting package tickets will automatically be listed. Tickets to all other festival events must be purchased through the Lake Oconee Food and Wine Festival website.
